Annual Benchmark Survey

Updated August 2026

Our Employer of Choice Employee Survey acts as the annual benchmark survey as the anchor point for the listening framework. It provides the comprehensive diagnostic view of organisational effectiveness and the employee experience.

Role of the annual survey

The annual survey should be used to:

  • establish the whole-of-organisation baseline;
  • identify priority EOF drivers requiring action;
  • compare results across business units and workforce segments;
  • track year-on-year movement;
  • inform organisational development priorities;
  • provide the reference point for pulse surveys, leader conversations and targeted micro-surveys.

How it fits with other channels

Annual survey output How the broader listening framework uses it
X-Factor outcomes Used as the underpinning outcome measures for pulse surveys and lifecycle reporting.
EOF driver scores Used to identify priority drivers for action, leader conversations and targeted micro-surveys.
Workforce segment patterns Used to identify where local listening, support or action planning is needed.
Year-on-year movement Used to assess whether priority initiatives are shifting experience over time.
