Survey Communications and Participation Strategy

Survey process owners · Communications · Leaders Updated July 2026

Communication should create both awareness and confidence. Employees need to know why the survey is being run, how confidentiality is protected, how results will be used and what will happen next.

Communication principles

Principle Practical application
Be clear about purpose Explain that the survey gives employees a voice and supports workforce planning and organisational improvement.
Be honest about confidentiality Explain aggregate reporting and third-party administration in plain language.
