Employees
The Employee Survey gives employees an opportunity to share feedback on the things that affect work, culture, leadership, systems, support and the overall employee experience.
Why participation matters
Council can make better decisions when feedback reflects a broad range of employee experiences. High participation helps ensure the results are representative and useful.
What the survey asks about
The survey asks about areas such as:
- community focus and leadership;
- role clarity, workload, tools, systems and development;
- safety, wellbeing, collaboration, change, recognition, pay, benefits and flexibility;
- overall experience, intent to stay, advocacy and pride.
Confidentiality
Results are reported in aggregate form. The purpose is to understand patterns and themes, not to identify individual responses.
What happens after the survey
Council should communicate the headline results, identify priority focus areas and explain what will happen next. Employees may also be invited to participate in follow-up discussions or targeted listening activities where more detail is needed.
