Survey Introduction Wording
This page provides example wording for the introductory message that appears at the start of the employee survey questionnaire.
Council should review and confirm this wording before survey setup is finalised. The introduction should be written in council’s own voice, but it should clearly explain the purpose of the survey, how confidentiality will be managed and why participation matters.
[!client-guide] Required setup input At a minimum, Mastertek requires the final survey introduction wording to be confirmed before the survey can be set up.

Employee Opinion Survey | [MONTH YEAR]
This Employee Survey provides an opportunity for you to share your opinions and feedback on a range of topics that impact the employee experience at [Council]. Your feedback is invaluable as it provides a clear indication of the strengths of our organisation, and the areas that we need to focus on for improvement.
The findings of this survey will provide input into the development of our workforce management strategy and people plan and will also provide a benchmark for measuring our progress and success in the future.
As part of the LGNSW Employer of Choice Program, we have engaged their partners at Mastertek to conduct the survey as an independent third-party. All information submitted will be treated confidentially and will be anonymous. Only Mastertek staff will have access to individual responses, and they will prepare a summary of the feedback for us.
The success of the survey depends on the participation of all employees across the organisation. I am extremely interested to receive your personal feedback to ensure results represent the views of all employees. On that basis, I strongly encourage each and every employee to complete this survey and take this opportunity to have their say.
I thank you in advance for your contributions in shaping the people practices of the organisation in the best way possible for all employees, now and into the future.
If you have any questions relating to the survey or require any technical support, please contact [Name, Email, Phone].
Kind regards,
[NAME]
[GENERAL MANAGER / CEO]
